Round up. (Again, again)

I've been borrowing my dad's super nice camera to take pictures. As a result, they've been uploaded to a computer that's not mine. Which means it's taken me a while to get around to putting them together into a post. I HAVE been busy cooking. Got another cookbook (though I haven't used any of the recipes yet.) Vegan on the Cheap. Any thoughts, people? This seems to be a serious addiction...

I'm still ridiculously obsessed with Appetite for Reduction though. I've now made the Jerk Asparagus three times. (Since going vegan, I've generally made new recipes for almost every meal) And the broiled blackened tofu twice.  Seeing as how I've shown these already (right?), I'll show you the new stuff.

Orange flavored broccoli, I believe it's Masala tofu & unfried Fried rice. I've never been a huge fan of fried rice, but I have to admit this was really good. And the broccoli was a fantastic combination of savory and sweet. Or just crisp sweetness with that tangy flavor of orange. I just know I liked it.

Gratuitous picture of my adorable dog. Who would desperately like to eat raw tofu. Yes. You read that right. (She's done it twice, eaten an entire block of uncooked tofu)

My sister, the Car-er Omnivore, making a face while eating dairy ice cream.

Loved this bread. Daiya mozzarella and black olives. Yum.

Ran into a recipe I didn't like. Hottie Black-eyed peas with greens. Way too hot for my taste. Blam, in your face hot. (I will admit that I used some random garlic hot sauce type thingy since my family was not (this has been corrected) in possession of 'normal' 'american' hot sauce.

I follow bodyrock.tv for strength training. Sometimes I follow their 'diet' challenges (slowly changing over to healthy eating styles). This week was eat a tomato with every meal. Came up with this for lunch: Chickpeas, seared tomatoes, and steamed chard. With some balsamic vinegar drizzled over it. Fantastic combination, super delicious. In fact, I'd already started eating before I remembered I should take a picture for evidence.

Coconut Red Lentil Cauliflower Curry? Don't remember the specific name. But it was delicious. And there was a TON of it. Of course, I was quite gassy the next day.. I think there was a connection. Cauliflower and all!

A lunch of leftovers. The Orange scented broccoli, olive-lentil-cashew burgers with tomatoes & a yummy granny smith apple.
